There are many available treatment options for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA):

  • If you are overweight, weight loss may improve or eliminate your OSA.
  • Oral appliances are often used to treat mild to moderate OSA.
  • Behavioral changes, such as not smoking or drinking alcohol, can treat OSA.

Positive Airway Pressure Therapy (PAP therapy), which can prevent or reduce serious health consequences of OSA is the most common therapy. PAP therapy keeps your airway open during the night so you don’t stop breathing. To learn more about sleep disorders and treatment options, click here.
