No insurance, but you suspect you have Sleep Apnea?

Lakeland Regional Health Sleep Disorders Center will be offering patients with no insurance an option to obtain the WatchPAT ONE for a one-time fee of $197.

Picking up WatchPAT ONE at Lakeland Regional Health Sleep Disorders Center.

STEP 1: Call 863.688.2700 to schedule your appointment time for pickup during regular office hours. Picking up the WatchPAT ONE can take up to 20 minutes.

STEP 2: During your appointment, you will watch a 3-5 minute video on how to use the WatchPAT ONE.

STEP 3: A technician will guide you on downloading the WatchPAT ONE app on your Apple or Android phone prior to leaving the Sleep Center. You will receive a copy of how to use the app and a four digit code.

Picking up WatchPAT ONE at your provider’s office.

STEP 1: Schedule an appointment time with your provider for pickup during regular office hours. Picking up the WatchPAT ONE can take up to 20 minutes.

STEP 2: Once payment has been received by your provider, a staff member will call the sleep center to register your device’s serial number along with your personal information.

STEP 3: During check out at your provider’s office, a staff member will provide you with a detailed letter stating how to use the WatchPAT ONE app along with a four digit code. You will also be given the website information where you can view the video on how to use the WatchPAT ONE.

Timeframe for your home sleep test.

You have the flexibility to conduct the home sleep test at your convenience. We do ask that you complete the sleep test as soon as possible, or within the maximum timeframe of seven days, after pickup. Once the test has been completed, an email will be sent to the sleep center, so your test can be read by one of the Sleep Providers. You should have results of your test within seven days of completion. The results will be sent to the ordering provider’s office or a copy can be picked up with a scheduled pickup time.

If treatment of your Sleep Apnea is required, here is what will happen.

STEP 1: Your healthcare provider will go over the sleep test results to determine if CPAP is right for you.

STEP 2: If you need CPAP therapy, you will be given a prescription for a CPAP machine, a copy of your sleep test, and a list of companies who provide CPAP machines.

STEP 3: You may purchase your CPAP machine directly from one of these companies or your provider’s office can send your prescription to a company of your choosing.

If you are diagnosed with Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and require an in-lab titration test.
