Drivers who drive when tired will find it difficult to stay alert and focused. They can fall asleep behind the wheel and lose control of their car. Per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an estimated 100,000 accidents per year happen as a result of drivers who are driving tired. Here are some signs to watch for when driving:

  • Yawning constantly
  • Driving too close to the car ahead of you
  • Missing road signs, turns, or exits
  • Drifting out of your lane
  • Trouble keeping your eyes open
